The operating system (OS) Android, namely Nougat (7.0) is
still lacking enthusiasts. The OS still gets a share less than the predecessor
series, Lollipop and Marshmallow.
In November 2016, there were only 0.3 percent of devices
that adopt Nougat. While in December, coverage Nougat user adoption is also not
too increased significantly.
Nougat only gained 1 percent, where the device is installed
in the figure is still 0.4 percent.
So, what about other OS? For Marshmallow (6.0) has increased
the number of adoption, namely 26.3 percent.
Meanwhile, Android Kitkat (5.0) includes the achievement of
user adoption as much as 24 percent. Yet a few months ago, Kitkat dominate the
market with 29.2 percent coverage.
The top position is now occupied by Lollipop in which
control 34 percent market share, with 11.3 percent division for versions 5.0
and 22.8 per cent to 5.1.
Furthermore, Android OS, Froyo, only the remaining 0.1
percent. Google explains that this data comes from a device running the latest
version of the Google Play Store app, which is compatible with Android 2.2 or
higher.
Nougat now is still the mainstay OS high-end smartphones.
Some vendors release their latest premium smartphone with the OS, such as
Google Pixel, LG and HTC Bolt V20.
Of course this OS user adoption will increase as the update
that is present in other smartphones.
